Introducing: The Evans Family

     Welcome to the Around the World Legacy Recap! This is the second of five posts that will summarize the events of the Legacy so far, in preparation for regular story posts! This time, we'll be introducing the Evans, a small family located in Hopewell Hills, San Sequoia. First, we have Alyssa.

    Alyssa is Vanessa's twin sister, a passionate artist with a wide array of creative skills. She studied Fine Art at Foxbury Institute alongside Vanessa, and eventually moved to Ravenwood with her temporarily while she figured out where she wanted to go long term. 

    While she fell in love with her husband, Henry, at college, they actually met in High School, as classmates. He has no family to speak of, but was warmly welcomed into the Espinoza family after his and Alyssa's engagement.

    Henry spent most of his and Alyssa's marriage working as a freelance programmer, staying home to look after their daughters while Alyssa pursued her career as a Master of the Real painter. Now that they're growing up, though, he's made the transition over to the tech guru career, working in an office rather than his small desk at home.

    Alyssa and Henry were the first couple married of Generation 2, and their first daughter, Ava, is the Heir of Generation 3. Ava is grown up and attending Britechester University, pursuing an honors degree in Fine Art- following in her mother's footsteps, it seems! She has quite a talent for music, and particularly loves the violin. 

    Ava is currently dating Haikili Akamai, a young man from Sulani who she went to high school with. He had something of a reputation as a bully back then... time will tell if this relationship works out well or not. 

    Attending university has always been Ava's dream, and she is thriving so far, maintaining perfect grades in all her classes. She hasn't quite decided what path to pursue yet, but there'll be lots of options open to her! And in the meantime, she may as well live her college life to the fullest.

        Second and youngest is Ella, an open-hearted girl with a love of animals. She's still in high school, and will be for a while. She hasn't expressed much interest in college, talking about starting an office job instead and focusing on opening her own cafe. She has big dreams, and the determination to get there!

    Ella also seems to have found love young in Kit Chevalier, another boy from the Copperdale Orphanage. Sharing a love of animals and an idealistic outlook on life, the two hit it off immediately! Will their love last outside of high school? We'll have to wait and see.

    Ella is still young, and hasn't had much time for adventures yet, but her life hasn't been entirely uneventful. High School is a formative time, after all.
