Introducing: The Walter Family

The Walters live in Bedrock Strait, Oasis Springs, and are a family of four. (Plus the dog, of course.) Rose Espinoza is the oldest of the three younger triplets born after Vanessa and Alyssa, and is quite an interesting personality. Despite her sunny appearance and pastel pink color palette, she's rather grim and moody. What else would you expect from someone who's defining personality trait is 'macabre', after all?

Despite her darker side, Rose is a good, caring woman. She's a professional bodybuilder, and spends a good portion of time working out at home- though mostly indoors in the home gym. The sun is awful!

Rose decided to skip college, taking a job at a gym in Oasis Springs instead and moving out of Ciudad Enamorada. It was here that she met her future husband, Philip, when he lived in the apartment below hers. Philip was a new recruit to the military at the time, and the two first bonded by going to the gym together in their off hours.

Philip has no family- or at least none that he likes to speak of. He doesn't often talk about where he came from, but he's a good man- loyal, gentle, and kind. He and Rose love each other dearly, and have begun to talk of more travel now that the children will be moving out soon.

Rose and Philip's wedding day.

Rose, heavily pregnant, at a party at Alyssa's house.

A family trip to Mt. Komorebi- the first of many adventures, Rose and Philip hope.

Rose and Philip's eldest is also a daughter- a theme in this generation! Their eldest is named Eirwen, and she's on the cusp of graduation as well. She adores the romantic goth aesthetic, and has a few... rather shady hobbies.

Eirwen's publicly announced career choice is to open a nectar shop in Nordhaven. Her secret dream? To become a criminal. There's not much she can do to pursue this career choice while still under her parents' roof, but she can plan. The nectar shop will make the perfect front...

Eirwen doesn't socialize at school much beyond her cousins, but she did making one friend: Sterling Ward, the step-son of the infamous actress, Judith Ward. He's interesting, which is something the other students seem to lack, in Eirwen's opinion.

Sterling's father, Sebastian, married Judith in an arrangement that seems to be more one of mutual gain than true love. Such is the way of politics, it seems- after all, Judith isn't just a famous actress, she's a Duchess. While accustomed to living in comfort, Sterling finds the empty luxury of Ward Manor lonely- at least, until meeting Eirwen. The first friend he's made in years who doesn't seem to just want his money or title.

Eirwen's first prom. She attended with her only other friend, a girl named Lina.

Sterling invited Eirwen over to Ward Manor, to do homework together and hang out.

A photo Philip took of Eirwen and her little brother, Carlos, dressed up in their formal attire.

Second born and the only son of Generation 3 is Carlos Jr., named for Rose's late father. He never got to meet his grandfather- Carlos passed away while Rose was pregnant with him. Rose often says he takes after him, though, in both temperament and appearance.

Carlos is creative and mild mannered, enjoying video games and studying gemology. He doesn't quite know what he wants to do with his life yet- there's so many options, after all. He gets along with just about everyone at school, but his newest friend is a girl named Mirabel.

Mirabel is a sweet, mild-mannered girl who dreams of one day owning her own ranch. She likes to read and spend time in the outdoors, and she and Carlos hit it off when they met in the new Entomology elective. They haven't known each other long yet, but theirs promises to develop into a lasting friendship.

Carlos' birthday party!

Carlos and Mirabel spend the afternoon on the pier in Plumbite Cove during summer break.

Carlos learns woodworking from Philip one summer weekend.

That brings us to the end of our third recap! Stay tuned, we still have two more families to come!

       Thanks for reading!
